With all the ash and soot in the air, I decided to change Mabel's bed covers in front of the fire place. As I put a fresh cover on each one, she would go tamp the bed down and watch supervise me with the next. In the end, she mostly chose the new fleece cover her granny brought her back in October but couldn't resist stretching out onto her outdoor bed.
Pup's got a hard life, eh?

Spot fusses when I put his freshly washed bed covers back on, too! He'll push me aside to get to them, walk over them to make sure they aren't fakes, and nuzzle me and make a pain out of himself while I struggle with the other bed covers. Dogs are weird!
