Louisiana Summer

I have avoided Louisiana in the summer for about a decade. Last summer does not count as my sister was so sick... It's all a blur.  While it is hot enough that I long to be in my mother's dark cave of a house, it is nice to see some of mother's plants in bloom.

Peggy just came back from a week in Mississippi. When she got on the plane to come home, the temp and humidity were in the 90s, and when she got off the plane in Oregon, the high that day was 67 with low humidity. A person from Mississippi could freeze to death up here.

Oh, as I've said befores, my Ma would melt into a pool of goo in that humidity!! I feel for ya!

Oh Snow... it sounds delicious! I keep looking at the temps in LA and just kick myself!
