Sunland Tujunga Locals - BEWARE

Local folks... just so you know where your money is going: The Christmas tree lot operating at the former K-Mart site is issuing  Home Depot receipts when a tree is purchased. The staff is wearing shirts that say Noble Mountain tree farm but the signage and SKU numbers are all Home Depot.

Please support local tree vendors that will keep the money in the community!

Thanks for spreading the words! We should know the truth and where the green paper is gone to!

I wonder if that's even legal?

miss creekhiker,

that is so totally not cool! if we wanna buy our tree from actual local tree peeps, then that's what we wanna do...not have tricksies played on us by shady mega store lame-o peeps. :(

You make a valid point about supporting local tree venders, but it still makes me sad to think that a happy adventure like shopping for a Christmas tree could turn sour because of a company name on a receipt. I know you've had an ongoing battle with HD, so I assume that history is what caused your distress.

Velvet, Home Depot is just a company I have NO respect for. They lie at every turn. The sooner we can get a needed vendor in that spot, the better!
