Around here Walter is the alarm clock. He tries to get us up starting around 6:30 ish but we make him go back to sleep. However there is never any sleeping past 8am in our house as that is Walter's breaking point when he is sure he is dying of hunger.
I love my little man.

BOL!! Oh gurl, I gots you beat! I wake Ma up at all hours of the night to poop, pee, and well just check out the yardie! Butts there is no sleepin' past 4am!! Nopes, that's when I MUST go out for a pee and surveillance duty.
Oh, and Ma never really taught me the High Five Paw, I always just did it since I was a wee lass! She thinks it's funny, so I amuse her!

In our house it is actually the cats that have the alarm and wake us up. The dogs are pretty good, but maybe because they think the wake up is the cats job!
It is most confounding. My "alarm" goes off sometime between 5-6 AM.

Hmmmmm...Bilbo does sort of the same thing, but first he makes me get up and WATCH hom go outside to piddle....or he will wake me up by just piddling on the carpet *sigh*
