February 23, 2002 - May 8, 2014

Mabel passed away of complications from bloat this afternoon. Above is the last photo I have of her going into her stream, taken last week.  Below, is the last photo I have at all... It was taken two days ago...she's giving her pal Otto an earful.

Otto's mom was with me today as I said goodby to my girl. She said, "I'm certain Mabel Lou is telling Gizmo just how heaven works... even though she's only been there a few minutes and he's been there much longer!"

I am devastated and planning to be off line for a few days. Comments are off but I will do a more fitting tribute...later.
