Days notice I had to ship 8 last minute packages to my restaurant chain customer: 1/24
Hours early that I finished said order because my brain fog told me that overnights left my town at 2 pm: 1.5

I don't suppose you saw a doctor in regard to the bad almond butter, but if you did, you might have grounds for a settlement. Whether you would want to pursue it is another matter, but someone screwed-up and you suffered for four days because of that screw-up.
Your dog becoming tired of playing with you is certainly a more serious matter. Dogs today just aren't what they were back in Mississippi when you and I were kids. I don't know if it's because the only ones we ever see are Yankee dogs who have no religion and therefore don't accept their god-assigned task of pleasing their parents rather than expecting their parents to please them, or whether you and I just aren't as interesting as we used to be, but if there's one thing to be said for cats, their idea of a good time is taking a nice nap in a snug and quiet location, and, by golly, I can see that they get it.
