Longing for Water

It's been much cooler lately (although it is 98 today!) making our regular spot much less of a "desert death march." But Mabel and all her pals still head down the stream bed wondering if their precious creek has returned....

Bless her heart! I wish there was some water there for her. I wonder if it's confusing to her. On another note, it's 98??? Wow, it's 77 here and, as you know, my feeling is FINALLY! I hope it cools off for you soon.

Oh Mabel Lou, sorry that your creek is all dry gurl!! I wish I could send you some of the rain we had Saturday, at least it would have helped!
