Mabel in Jail??
There is something about a dog behind bars that tears at my heart. A friend once described my penchant for dogs as limited to "big, black & tan, and with a record." She's right on the mark...
But Mabel was not up to mischief there...not too much anyway. She was waiting for her eggs to arrive during a quick stop to our local IHOP while out running errands.

I can see how she might be waiting in the top photo, but what's happening in the bottom photo? Did she not like her eggs, or was she growing impatient waiting for them?

We can never take our dogs out for shopping as the signs of NO PETS ALLOWED are everywhere, even in most of the parks.

Snow - it was a tad hot that day and yes, she was impatient. Service is not always great on the patio.
Priscilla - THAT'S HORRIBLE! How can they keep dogs out of parks??? Do people not patrol the poop??? One of the things I love about my town is EVERYONE has their dog with them!
