Product Review: Hill's Ideal Balance Breakfast Medleys with Country Chicken and Egg

Hello Good pups and peeps of Blogville! Macy Blue here with another Chewy.com review. O.k. Momma, what did Chewy send me this month??

They sent you Hill's Ideal Balance Breakfast Medleys with Country Chicken and Egg Dog Treats.

Ummm Breakfast Medleys?? Wait... they make cookies just for breakfast???  Oh gimmegimmegimme!! Give it to the MacyBlue!... INCOMING....

Oh NOMnomNOM! Those are tasty...Oops! MOM! You forgot to do the product shots! Show them what the baggy looks like:

The cookies look like little waffles! Macy Blue LOVES waffles! Heh!

Momma, you shouldn't put that back in the bag...you touched it you know! I don't want your hand germs in my cookies, so...You should give me that one!   INCOMING!

That one was a bit HIGH, Momma! O.K. I'mma hoover the ground a bit  while Momma tells you the 'gredient stuffs!

Hill's Ideal Balance Breakfast Medleys with Country Chicken and Egg Dog Treats are regular priced on Chewy's site at 8.99 for 8 ounces which is a bit steep for my budget. And the treats are big...so there are not that many of them. We typically buy a pound for 7.99 of our favorite treats on Chewy.com. For those of you with deeper pocketbooks, they are made from good stuff and Macy really loved them.  On the plus side, they are on sale right now!!!

Here are the ingredients as listed on Chewy.com:
Chicken, Peas, Potatoes, Chicken Meal, Tapioca, Cane Molasses, Glycerin, Chicken Fat, Egg Product, Natural Flavors, Dried Skim Milk, Cinnamon, Citric Acid, Lactic Acid, Mixed Tocopherols for freshness.
Back to Macy Blue to wrap it up:

There goes Princess Pocketbook again... sigh... Maybe we can get some at the Chewy.com sale.  [Who knew I got adopted by Kmart?? Sheesh]

Well, I sure loved them!  So let's hope!

Neither Creekhiker nor Macy Blue were compensated for this review. Chewy.com gave Macy Blue one case of Hill's Ideal Balance Breakfast Medleys with Country Chicken and Egg Dog Treats to devour...or not.

Throwing Shade

Throwing shade has a negative connotation in social media, but this is what it means to Macy Blue and me.

Macy's hellbow causes her to limp. Her desire to lead the pack while simultaneously exploring off trail causes her to over heat. She is prone to "sand naps." While we were in Louisiana, she could barely walk three blocks without a shade nap.  I often shield her from the sun...throw shade on her...to help her cool off so we can catch up with our pack.
